Government has decided to relax LTC rules by permitting Central government employees to travel by any airlines to visit Jammu and Kashmir. All officers and employees of the Central government will be allowed to avail LTC to visit the state against "conversion of one block of their home town LTC", an order issued by the government said.
Officers and employees of the Centre entitled to travel by air can avail this LTC in their entitled class, it said.
All other employees of Central government can travel by air in economy class from Delhi and Amritsar to any place in J and K by any airlines subject to their entitlement being limited to fares of Air India, the order said.
"Journey from their place of posting upto Delhi/Amritsar will have to be undertaken as per their entitlement," it said.
