Subject:- Abolition of F-28 & L-26 Sections.

It has been intimated by the Circle Secretary Maharastra Circle that CPMG Maharastra Circle Mumbai has issued orders for abolition of F-28 and L-26 sections. Both sections have been abolished without any discussion with the staff side and without going through the importance of these section. A detail on the utility of F-28  and L-26 sections has already been intimated to Directorate vide this Union letters of even number dated  02-08-2011 and 12-10-2011.

Action of CPMG Maharastra Circle is totally against the agreements/assurances given by the Directorate that no section will be abolished/merged without taking the staff side into confidence and having a detailed discussion on the subject.

To protest against the abolition of these sections, the staff of RMS `F` Division and RMS `L` Division has gone on indefinite strike with effect from to-day (31-10-2011).

We would request you to kindly intervene into the matter and direct the CPMG Maharastra Circle to withdraw the orders for the abolition of these sections immediately otherwise this strike may spread to whole Maharastra Circle and administration will be responsible for it.
