SEVENTH CENTRAL PAY COMMISSION & ITS SUBMISSION

In a resolution dated 28th February, 2014, Government of India has appointed the Seventh Central Pay Commission comprising Justice Shri Ashok Kumar Mathur as Chairman, Shri Vivek Rae as full time Member, Dr. Ratin Roy as part time Member and Smt. Meena Agarwal as Secretary. Share this article :The Commission is headquartered in Delhi and has been given 18 months from date of its constitution to make its recommendations. To this end the Commission will set up its team of Officers, Advisers, Institutional Consultants and Experts and call for required information and documents from Ministries and Departments of Government of India and various Service associations. The dates of appointment and submission of recommendations of the previous six central pay commissions are as under-

Appointment of Secretary to Gramina Dak Sevak Pay Committee

Dept of Posts has constituted Gramina Dak Sewak Committee to go through the issues relating to Gramina Dak Sewaks and submit a report to Department. Now the Postal Directorate has appointed Sri T.Q.Mohammad(IPoS 1994), PMG, Agra region UP Circle as Secretary of the said Gramina Dak Sewak Committee vide Order dated 09.11.2015.

Verification of Membership for recognition of Service Association under CCS(RSA) Rules, 1993

Our all Circle Secretaries and CHQ Office Bearers are well are that as per the Directorate Memo No. 13-1/2015/SR dated 5th August 2015, Drawing and Disbursing Officers has already started monthly recovery of unions/Associations subscription from the pay and allowances of employees from the pay of October 2015, paid on 31/10/2015.
It was also stated in the said memo that Divisional Head should complete membership verification process by 6/11/2015 and submit final report to Head of the Circle and in turn Head of Circle will submit consolidated statement to SR Section of Postal Directorate by 18/11/2015. It means that entire verification process is completed at Divisional level and only consolidated report is under preparation at Circle Office.
All Circle Secretaries are once again directed to ascertain their Circles position in respect of our cadre and send report to CHQ or GS through whatsApp /email /text Message immediately.
