The Union Cabinet today gave its approval to the Terms of Reference of 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC)

7th CPC TERMS OF REFEREMCE MOST REGROGRADE AND REACTIONARY

* Need Based Minimum Wage based on 15th ILC Norms not included in the Terms.
* No reference about the DA Merger and Interim Relief
* No reflection of Staff Side demand on Date of Effect from 01.01.2014.
* 3 Lakhs of GDS of Postal Department not included in the ambit of Pay Commission.
* No reference about the parity of pension between the past and the present        pensioners.
* Post 1.1.2004 appointees categorically excluded.
* Most of the items of terms of reference are just repetition of 6th CPC terms!
* Most retrograde and reactionary and should be unacceptable to the Staff Side.

CHQ R4 Condemns the attitude of the Government in coining the Terms of Reference  without subjecting them for a final consultation with the Staff Side.
